Oxiris Barbot Captain of the New York City DOH Thought Police
In this past week The Washington Post - WAPO - published a hit piece against the Selzes, a Manhattan based philanthropist couple that has been supporting the informed consent action network ICAN - https://icandecide.org/.
In the article there is a paragraph in which the commissioner of the New York City Department of Health is quoted and here is that paragraph.
"New York City Health Commissioner Oxiris Barbot, who has battled the nation’s single worst measles outbreak since October, said she never heard of the Selzes. “But I do know the science and the science is clear — the MMR vaccine prevents measles,” she said, using the common acronym for the vaccine that prevents measles, mumps and rubella. “Any suggestion to the contrary is a threat to the health and well-being of New Yorkers.”
As readers of this blog will know, we have documented on several occasions how the New York City Department of Health not only has lied about the epidemiology of the outbreak, but actually amplified and caused the outbreak to persist by forcing parents opposed to vaccination into a corner with a school expulsion order on December 7 2018. This order led to parents deliberately infecting their children with measles at measles parties in order to be able to get blood titer antibody evidence of immunity in order to get back into school.
What is most disturbing though is the oft repeated accusation by numerous "experts" that merely discussing, suggesting, or THINKING, that our current national Mass Vaccination program may not be a good idea is a "threat to health".
As you can see that is what NYC Thought Police Captain Oxiris Barbot is quoted by the WAPO article as having said.
As has been noted the legislative push to criminalize religious belief, and shut down scientific debate on the safety and wisdom of vaccination is about far more than vaccines and pathogens.
Thought Police Captain Barbot has stated openly that "suggestions" that she does not like are a "Threat" to Health.
With the police powers that Captain Barbot possess in her role as Health Department Commissioner a frightening dystopian reality materializes. We are now faced with the prospect of people being arrested and prosecuted for "suggesting" ideas that are contrary to the beliefs of a Bureaucrat namely the Commissioner of the New York City Department of Health.
Oxiris Barbot must be fired for her statement which violates her Oath of Office and the US constitution.
The corrupt New York City and New York State Democratic Political machine must be dismantled and all of these petty tyrants of the communist, anti parent, anti family, anti freedom, and anti religious liberty persuasion must be voted out of office.
