The Incompetent Capitol Police refer to protestors as terrorists

Listening to the opening remarks of the officers in today's show trial, it is obvious that the Capitol Police Department was wholly unprepared for the January 6th protest. Instead of taking responsibility for their incompetence and failure to plan for the protest including obvious crowd control measures that should have been implemented well in advance of January 6, the officers blame shift. Now a protest and protestors that get out of hand and out of control are  group demonized, as "terrorists" and "insurrectionists". It is also telling how law enforcement officers leave out the word "alleged" and have taken the self appointed role of Judge and Jury.

Even before 9/11, back in the days of low crime under Rudy Giuliani, the professionalism of the NYPD was evident when it came to crowd control and maintaining safety and order during emotional demonstrations. The NYPD made sure to be in total control of large crowd situations whether it was a protest or the New Years Eve Ball Drop in Times Square. All while preserving First Amendment Rights. This professionalism extended through the Bloomberg mayoralty.

Last summer when the Antifa and BLM militias ( I don't call them terrorists because they are a  paramilitary force organized and orchestrated by the Democrat Fascists) ran amuck in New York City, it became obvious that the once great NYPD had been hollowed out by Deblasio and Cuomo.

It is well known that a failure to plan is a plan for failure. The Capitol Police either failed to plan appropriately due to incompetence or due to willful and deliberate manipulation in order to create a provocation that could be used to besmirch Trump and Trump supporters.

It is inconceivable and inexcusable that in the wake of 9/11, two decades ago, that the capitol does not have adequate security to fully protect it under any and all circumstances, while also fully maintaining First Amendment rights.

We now know that apparently the FBI and other government linked groups like Antifa and BLM, had inserted agent provocateurs into the crowd in order to stir up trouble. This of course will not be adequately investigated by the kangaroo court committee.
