Dr. Stuart Ditchek Continues his holy war crusade against Orthodox Jewish Anti Vaxxers
In honor of the days of mourning for the 24,000 disciples of Rabbi Akiva and in honor of the Jews martyred during the Chmielnicki Massacres in 1648, Dr. Stuart Ditchek has released his latest attack on Orthodox Jewish Anti Vaxxers calling for them be further excluded from the community by not allowing them to marry.
The Talmud relates that 24,000 Students of Rabbi Akiva died during this period of time on the Jewish calendar in antiquity and we still mourn that event all these years later. It is not clear what the students died from . Some say it was a plague. Others say it was from Roman persecution. But the Talmud does say that it was a divine punishment for the sin of not extending proper respect to one another. The Chmielnicki Massacres are also observed during this time period.
Indeed it is customary in the Orthodox Jewish Community not to conduct Marriage ceremonies during this time period due to the somber mourning that is commemorated.
How pompous,audacious, and despicable, for Dr. Ditchek to pull this stunt particularly at this time of the year.
How disgraceful and disrespectful to release his statement in the Lakewood Scoop whereby he and the scoop are deliberately targeting Rabbi Malkiel Kotler the Head Rabbi of the Lakewood Yeshiva, in order to discredit and demean him because he is sympathetic to the Anti Vaxxers.
How appalling that there is no uprising of collective outrage and protest at this lack of respect and honor for the Torah and the utter contempt that this wicked man has for his fellow Jews who have a divergent medical and religious opinion then he.
