Below is an email alerting to the impending legislation in Connecticut - "The North" - in which the liberal state of Connecticut will seek to repeal vaccine religious exemption laws. As you can see the legislation was allegedly instigated and pushed by some Rabbis in Stamford Ct. I don't know which Rabbis are pushing this but many Rabbis have been misled on the science,safety,and public policy,of vaccines by doctors in their own communities.Many doctors are so heavily invested in the current public health paradigm that they can not look past the dogma they have been indoctrinated with in medical school. It is a curious aspect of this state of affairs that the liberal elite who are in favor of choice when it comes to a mother killing her unborn child, have no compunction about taking away choice from parents who wish to avoid harming their viable children with vaccines. One has to consider that perhaps the liberals are not so much concerned with "choice" as they are about promoting abortion, vaccine injury, and death. Any Rabbi who goes along with this Liberal agenda is supporting ideals that are in direct contravention to Judaism. Indeed it is a desecration of G-ds name that Rabbis are now fighting against religious freedom. We saw this in the old Soviet Union where some Rabbis were co-opted to support and collaborate with the Communist regime against their fellow Jews..

dropped this week, probably on Friday. The bill's sponsor claim that
the Jewish community in Stamford, CT asked him to submit this bill.
I
am perplexed by one simple question on the issue of religious freedom
and vaccination: why are religious leaders of all faiths sitting
quietly by allowing the state (under heavy influence from pharmaceutical
corporations) to remove an existing religious freedom?

HB-5277 AN ACT CONCERNING CHANGES TO THE REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS TO QUALIFY FOR THE TEMPORARY WAIVER FOR REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS. https://www.
This bill was introduced by Representative Daniel Fox in Stamford. He was approached by rabbis in the community and asked to introduce this bill based on what happened in NY in the Jewish community regarding measles. Please call AND email Rep. Fox and tell him you are opposed to this bill. Please do NOT take him up on the safety and/or efficacy of vaccines, but rather on the topic of religious freedom. Since he is a democrat, my body my choice is also a valid argument. His email is dan.fox@cga.ct.gov . His phone number is 860-240-8585 and his aide is Andrea.
After you email Rep Fox, please email the members of the Public Health Committee (PHC) as well. All members of PHC can be found HERE. Use the same arguments: freedom of religion as well as my body, my choice.
We are also awaiting a bill from Representative Liz Linehan that removes the ability for a school nurse to sign our religious exemption and adds on clergy. This is also a bill that must be killed. We will have more info on that as soon as we see the language. If you have not yet done so, please join the HCCT Activists group as all the information will be shared there. That group can be found HERE. To expedite your entrance to that group, please read ALL of the group rules AND answer ALL of the group questions in their entirety. Failure to do ALL that is required within 24 hours will result in a board member declining your request to join. This group is meant for ACTIVISTS ONLY!

HB 5137: AN ACT REQUIRING THE PROVISION OF VACCINE PACKAGE INSERTS AND VACCINE INFORMATION SHEETS TO A CHILD'S PARENT OR GUARDIAN PRIOR TO ADMINISTERING A VACCINE.https://www.cga.ct.
Please read through both to familiarize yourself with them. If you have any questions about either, please do not hesitate to reach out to a board member.
As always, we ask that you establish a relationship with both your representative and senator and that you speak with him/her about supporting these bills. If you don't know who your legislators are, you can find them here: https://www.cga.ct.
As a reminder, we are having 2 more Legislator Days at the Legislative Office Building (LOB), 300 Capitol Ave, Hartford, from 10am-4pm as follows:
* Thursday, January 17th
* Tuesday, February 5th
You don't have to come for the entire time on any given day, but this will give you an opportunity to educate your legislators and see how everything flows at the Capitol, which can be daunting for some. HCCT will have a table set up in the concourse between the Capitol and the (LOB) to provide information to legislators, aides and visitors. Board members will be there, so this will be a great time to set up a meeting with your legislators and have a board member accompany you.
