The New York State Vaccine Religious Exemption under threat from Brad Hoylman and Jeffery Dinowitz

New York state law as in 46 other states, allows for parents to opt their children out from mandatory vaccination required for admission to school by use of the religious exemption. Parents are allowed to claim that  vaccination  is against their sincerely held religious beliefs. While I would prefer that the law allow for opting out based on scientific belief as well, at the very least this right of refusal based on religious belief needs to be preserved. You will find that most anti vaxxers and ex vaxxers are opposed to vaccination on scientific grounds, but they are forced to utilize the religious exemption law because that is all that is available to them by law. It is interesting that State Senator Brad Hoylman has no compunction about taking away your personal liberty and "Choice" to decide whether or not to vaccinate your children.Yet when it comes to Abortion and the issue of whether a woman has the right to choose to kill the unborn child he is an ardent supporter of "Choice". I think he needs to get his differing views in alignment and stop trying to interfere in other peoples medical decisions and stop trying to impose medical tyranny from Albany.
Below is a paragraph from the Autism Action Network. autismactionnetwork.org
The legislative session has resumed in Albany and we have two bills, Sen. Martin Golden's S6141d in the State Senate and Assembly member Richard Gottfried's A8123a in the Assembly, that would guarantee your family's right to a religious exemption from vaccine mandates, stop the religious inquisitions some school districts, including New York City, inflict on applicants, and assure your child's right to attend public school. Powerful forces (the big four vaccine companies Glaxo, Merck, Sanofi and New York's own Pfizer) are pushing global campaigns to end everyone's right to chose what is injected in our bodies or our children's bodies. State Senator Brad Hoylman's S52 and Assembly member Jeffrey Dinowitz's A1810 would do exactly that in NY. They have succeeded in California, France and Italy. Let's make sure they get nowhere here, and let's push back.
What you can do today:
Please call your own Assembly member and State Senator and ask them to co-sponsor A8123a in the Assembly or S6141d in the Senate. Please be very polite and respectful.
